Sania Nishtar Launches “Ehsaas” Data Exchange Platform

Sania Nishtar, the government’s point-person on poverty reduction, unveiled the National Data Exchange Platform (NDEP) for the Ehsaas’ National Socioeconomic Registry 2021 on World Poverty Day.

One of the six pillars of One Window Ehsaas is the register. With the completion of the Ehsaas National Socioeconomic Registry 2021 survey, the NDEP will allow data exchange and data access services for all executing agencies overseen by the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division (PASSD).

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sania-nishtar-launches-ehsaas-data-exchange-platform/

This service will eventually be extended to provinces and other government agencies that are undertaking Ehsaas programs.

“Ehsaas NDEP will be a game-changer in revolutionizing social protection and poverty reduction programs in the country,” stated SAPM on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Sania Nishtar during the NDEP launch press conference.

She previously claimed that there was no way for one government entity to know what support a person or a family was receiving from another. “Some families with connections and power received many perks, while others who were more worthy received none,” she explained.

However, with Ehsaas NDEP in place, Sania stated, “The executing agencies in the Ehsaas ecosystem will be able to know what advantages an individual or a household is receiving by just entering in an individual’s computerized national identity number.”

More importantly, she stated that the advantages received by each family and individual from each organization will be apparent to all agencies participating in Ehsaas programs.

The advisor to the Prime Minister also complimented the teams working on the national socio-economic survey and technology.

According to a release, the data integration of the Ehsaas survey will also facilitate the deployment of the Ehsaas One Window targeting policy, which Prime Minister Imran Khan approved in the last quarter.
“It will ultimately save program costs, minimize redundancy, optimize beneficiary targeting, and enable efficient and effective policy decisions, planning, and execution,” the document stated.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sania-nishtar-launches-ehsaas-data-exchange-platform/

The cognitive API architectural strategy will protect data sharing. Data will be shared in both directions; agencies with whom data will be shared will be expected to update the registry with their own information.

The NDEP will also be linked to other federal agencies’ databases, allowing for real-time beneficiary information checking.

As a result, the same data exchange infrastructure will underpin the upcoming Ehsaas targeted commodities subsidies programme, which will be implemented in partnership with the USC and the NBP.

The executing agencies of Ehsaas will be able to access data from the unified registry in real-time through this national scale data-sharing network to validate beneficiary information.

Pakistan Stock Exchange (Psx) To Launch New Trading System This Month

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) plans to make a newly acquired trading platform – purchased from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) – fully operational this month, according to PSX chief executive Farrukh H Khan.

The SZSE, China’s third-largest stock exchange in terms of trading value, owns 40% of the PSX and is one of the country’s three stock exchanges. In November 2019, Pakistan inked a $5 million contract with SZSE to acquire the trading and surveillance system in order to strengthen its operational and technological level.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/pakistan-stock-exchange-psx-to-launch-new-trading-system-this-month/

According to Arab News, the CEO stated that the launch is scheduled for October. It was supposed to be live in March, but there were some criteria that “our stakeholders had requested to accommodate in the trading system, which is now in place,” he said.

The new trading system will make PSX trading more transparent and appealing, bringing the stock exchange up to pace with other stock exchanges.

“The technology will substantially increase our trading capabilities and ability to provide new products like options,” Khan added.
“We’ll have a genuine monitoring system as well as the robustness of a much better system.”

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/pakistan-stock-exchange-psx-to-launch-new-trading-system-this-month/

In an interview with an international magazine, the CEO stated that Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) downgraded the Pakistan Indexes due to a decrease in market capitalisation.

It is worth noting that the MSCI Pakistan Indexes were reclassified from the Emerging Market Index (EMI) to the Frontier Markets Index (FMI) in September (FMI).

The benchmark KSE-100 index hit 53,000 points in 2017, with a market value of $100 billion. However, market capitalization has fallen to $45 billion throughout the years, with a 17 percent dip in the last four months.

“Rising oil prices, which have more than doubled in recent days, Afghanistan’s situation, interest rate hikes, and the rupee have remained under pressure, and MSCI reclassification in general has caused negative consequences in the share market,” Khan said.

Sindh is one of Pakistan’s four provinces and is located in the country’s southeast. It is the Sindhi people’s dwelling. Sindh is the second-largest province in terms of population and the third-largest in terms of area. Sindh is connected to both Punjab and Balochistan, with Punjab to the north and Balochistan to the west. Sindh also has a district in India.

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sindhs-most-famous-tourist-attractions-and-landmarks/

Sindh’s terrain is dominated by the Thar Desert and the Indus River, particularly in the province’s eastern half, which is closest to India’s border. Sindh is Pakistan’s second largest economy, and Karachi, its regional capital, is the country’s first large city and economic hub. Sindh is more like a home to a major percentage of Pakistan’s industrial region and features two of the country’s commercial ports, namely The Karachi Port and Port Bin Qasim.

Sindh has a farming-based industry and produces food patron goods, fruits, and vegetables for import and export. It is sometimes referred to as the “Bab-ul-Islam.” Because Islam was founded in Sindh, this is the way to Islam. Sindh also has a diverse artistic and ethnic community, including Urdu-speaking residents.

Sindh is noted for its culture, customs, and values, which are heavily affected by Sufism, which is a prominent feature of Sindhi temperament for both Hindus and Muslims. The Hindu community, on the other hand, constitutes the largest part of Sindh’s population. Throughout Sindh, there are numerous significant Sufi dargahs and graves, which attract millions of followers. Sindh features two Ancestry Sites: the Historical Relics at Makliand and the Mohenjodaro Ruins.

Culture of Sindh:

Sindhi culture is the personification of the Indus Valley kingdom. Sindh was founded by an abandoned site, easy access to natural riches, and consistent foreign leverage. The River Indus, which runs through the land, and the Arabian Sea have also nourished the traditions of the people who live there.

The Sindh is’ vocabulary, mythology, lives, and liturgies are also influenced by the regional environment. These are considerably different from the neighbouring areas. Sindhi society is also influenced by the Sindhi Diaspora. This article contains all of the information on the culture, including the history of Sindhi culture.

Sindhi Culture Language:

Sindhi is an old language with a long history of educational success. Its creators have contributed diverse aspects of songs and poems. Sindhi writings are excellent and the world’s oldest literature. The primary references to Sindh’s writings can be found in Arab chroniclers’ manuscripts.

The Indian government has approved Sindhi as a language of choice and a mode of education in India. Sindhi is a fictitious third language spoken in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan in India.

Sindhu, the real name of the Indus River, inspired the term “Sindhi.”

Sindhi was the prevalent language of Sindh prior to the establishment of Pakistan. The Sindh Assembly of Pakistan has made Sindhi language teaching mandatory in all private institutions in Sindh.

Interpretation of Quran In Sindhi:

It is widely acknowledged that Sindhi was the first language into which the Holy Quran was translated in the eighth or ninth centuries. It has also been discovered that the theses on astronomy, history, and medicine were written and published in Sindhi over the same eras.

Cultural Day of Sindh:

Sindh’s people commemorate Sindh’s Cultural Day every year on December 1st, Sunday. They dress in their traditional attire, such as the Sindhi Topi and Ajrak. In addition, musical entertainments are being planned in many towns to honour it with bravery.

As Sindh is prosperous so, it comprises unique places where you will enjoy yourself to the fullest.

Rani Kot Fort:

Ranikot Fort, also known as Rannikot, is an ancient Talpur castle located near Sann in the Jamshoro District of Sindh, Pakistan. With a rim of about 32 kilometres, this Fort is also known as The Sindh’s Great Wall and is thought to be the world’s largest Fort. The ramparts of the Fort have been compared to the Great Wall of China.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sindhs-most-famous-tourist-attractions-and-landmarks/

Ranikot Fort is located on the Indus Highway, 90 kilometres (56 miles) north of Hyderabad. There is also an easy entry to Sannon on the Indus route, which is roughly an hour’s drive from Karachi. An entertainment highway begins a short distance away from Sann, the neighbouring hamlet, and heads to the Fort through a hilly 21-kilometer road, arriving at the eastern door of the Fort, known as Sann Gate. The Fort is located within the Kirthar National Park, Pakistan’s second-largest federal park.

The Fort is massive, stretching 31 kilometres and connecting several dismal summits of the Kirthar ranges along silhouettes. The Fort’s wall is connected with several fortifications, three of which are semi-circular in shape. The northern portion of the Fort’s perimeter is a genuine elevated mountainous structure. On the other three sides, however, it is surrounded by the Fort’s walls.

Within this major Fort, there is a little fort known as the “Miri Fort,” which is about 3 kilometres from the Sann entrance and serves as the Mir royal family’s house. The entire fort building was built of stone and citrus pestles. The Fort is built in a zigzag pattern, with four rhomboid-shaped entrance doors. Amri Gate, Sann Gate, Mohan Gate, and Shah-Pere Gate are the names of four gates.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sindhs-most-famous-tourist-attractions-and-landmarks/

Two of the gates, facing each other, are diagonally crossed by the Sann river; the first entry is on the western side and is eaten by the river’s water, making it difficult to reach. The southern door has two entrances. Two sides of the gates have flower-patterned decoration and carved diamonds.

Sukkur Barrage:

Sukkur Barrage is a barrage built on the Indus River near the city of Sukkur in Pakistan’s Sindh province. The barrage, known as the Lloyd Barrage, was built during the British rule from 1923 to 1932. The Sukkur Barrage is the pride of Pakistan’s fertilisation system, since it is the world’s largest single irrigation network of its kind.

It irrigates from Sukkur in the north to Mirpurkhas/ Tharparkar in the south. The Sukkur Barrage also washes the city of Hyderabad in Sindh’s south, as do practically all other parts of the province. It is 500 kilometres northeast of Karachi, 5 kilometres below the railroad bridge or the Sukkur Gorge. The establishment of a barrage-controlled irrigation system resulted in more favourable water allocations for Sindh’s farmed areas.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sindhs-most-famous-tourist-attractions-and-landmarks/

Sindh survives almost entirely on the water of the Indus River due to the extremely limited amount of groundwater. The province receives between 100 and 200 mm of rain each year on average. The rate of evaporation, on the other hand, is between 1,000 and 2,000 mm. As a result, Sindh is arid, and the Indus is the only source of irrigation. Sindh is otherwise completely dry.

Standard questionnaires were not used to assess the availability of groundwater in Sindh. Numerous authorities estimated that its potential is between three and five MAF spread throughout 28 percent of Sindh’s geographical area. Nonetheless, some experts believe it is smaller than these figures. This water is mostly found in the Indus waterways and in rare natural underground streams.

Pakistan Beats India In The World Cup For The First Time

For the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup, Pakistan defeated India by ten wickets at Dubai International Stadium.Skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan breezed through the run-chase after restricting arch-rivals to 151/7.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/pakistan-beats-india-in-the-world-cup-for-the-first-time/

Pacer Shaheen Shah got Pakistan off to a good start as skipper Babar Azam chose to field first. He caught India’s vice-captain, Rohit Sharma, for a golden duck and rocked KL Rahul’s stumps in his next over, with India behind at 6/2.

After early losses, Indian captain Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav (11) attempted to get India’s innings back on track in the powerplay, but Hasan Ali struck in his first over to reduce India to 36/3 in six overs.

http://fabulouspakistan.com/pakistan-beats-india-in-the-world-cup-for-the-first-time/

As India recovered well after the powerplay, Kohli and the aggressive Risabh Pant put on a 53-run partnership. Pant dominated briefly, belting two sixes off Hasan, but leg-spinner Shadab Khan sent him as he attempted to accelerate. He was eliminated after scoring a well-executed 30-ball 39.
After Pant’s dismissal, Pakistan kept Kohli quiet and things were under control.
Ravindra Jadeja only achieved 13 runs per ball, while Kohli scored fifty. Shaheen dismissed him for 57 in the 19th over. In 49 balls, the Indian skipper struck five fours and a six.

After some sloppy fielding by Pakistan in the last two overs, India pushed the total above 150. Shaheen finished with 3 for 31 while Hasan gave 44 runs in four overs for his two wickets. Haris Rauf performed admirably in the last overs, finishing with figures of 1/25.

In response, wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan and Babar batted brilliantly right from the outset. The duo overpowered the opposition with excellent stroke-play and easily led the run-chase.

Babar scored his fifty with a six against Varun Chakravarthy, while Rizwan hit the half-century with a four off Jasprit Bumrah. Mohammad Shami bowled the 18th over, which resulted in the score being chased down.

Pakistan Best And Famous Botanical Garden

Kashyap and Lahore`s amazing botanical heritage:

With 6,000 herbarium assortments, Pakistan’s most famous and finest greenhouse exists. It was established in 1912 in Lahore, beside the Governor’s House, and was the best in the British Indian Empire at the time. In any case, let me begin this essay on a different note, one that is unique. She rolled out various natural names of trees and plants in a potential experience, which was one of the many reasons I married a long time ago. That astounded me. After that, the rest is history. It reminded me of my late uncle, former Punjab information secretary Sheik Hafeezur Rehman.

 Qarshi Botanical Garden:

The Qarshi Botanical Garden (QBG) was founded in 2000 with the goal of preserving and expanding commercially important indigenous plant species. Qarshi Botanical Garden (QBG) is located on the Taxila – Haripur Road on the grounds of Qarshi Industries (Pvt.) Ltd in Hattar, District Haripur, KPK, Pakistan. Islamabad is 60 kilometers away from the starting location. QBG is located at 33o 44′ to 34o 22′ latitude, 72o 35′ to 73o 15′ longitude, and 610 meters above sea level.

The typical annual precipitation ranges from 800 to 1300 mm, and the average winter temperature is 12°C, while the average summer temperature is approximately 29°C. In any event, the most extreme weather occurs in the summer, when temperatures exceed 40 degrees Celsius, and the lowest temperatures occur in the winter when temperatures are below 4 degrees Celsius. Depending on the environment, thick ice may be visible at some time throughout the months of December and January.

The Herb Garden is almost 4 acres in size. The Herb Garden is well-designed and well-spaced for the planting of important plant species. It includes around 276 essential plant kinds from 52 families and 212 genera. Spices, shrubs, and trees are among the 56 wild species.

Users Will Soon Be Able To Listen To Voice Notes Even After Exiting Discussions On WhatsApp

WhatsApp has been working to improve voice message support on its platform by giving users additional features including a playback speed slider and consecutive voice messages. It was previously reported that the platform is testing a transcription function that may turn an audio communication into text, making it easier for consumers to grasp.

Users will be able to listen to voice notes even after exiting conversations, thanks to a new feature being developed by the instant messaging company.

According to WABetaInfo, the firm has named this new feature the “global voice message player” since it will be pinned to the top of the app when you are listening to a voice message and reading other chats. At any moment, users will be able to pause and dismiss a voice message.

At this time, the upgrade is allegedly being developed for beta testers. Along with iOS, WhatsApp is anticipated to introduce the global voice messaging player to Android in the near future.

Pakistan’s Best And Famous Bridges

Bridges are critical for establishing links between cities or nations. They also contribute to the area’s aesthetic appeal. Let’s take a look at some of Pakistan’s most beautiful and well-known bridges, including their locations, names, and histories.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/pakistans-best-and-famous-bridges/

Kak Pul :

It is based on the Soan River, which is located on the Islamabad Highway. The Soan River is a major watercourse in Pakistan’s Potohar area. It depletes a significant portion of Potohar’s water supply. Sihala town, the National Police Academy of Pakistan’s region, and Pakistan’s most recognized police trade school are all adjacent to Kak Pul. The Defence Housing Authority in Islamabad, the Institute of Space Technology in Islamabad, the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University campus, and Model Town Humak, a satellite town of Islamabad, Pakistan, all situated adjacent to Kak Pul.

Bunji Bridge:

Bunji Bridge (also Partab Pul) is a suspension bridge that spans the Indus River in Bunji, a town in Gilgit-Astore Baltistan’s District. It was originally used by Maharaja Pratap Singh’s administration in the royal kingdom of Jammu and Kashmir in the nineteenth century. During the 1947 Gilgit Rebellion, its timber bracing was set ablaze and repaired along these lines. Throughout the decades, it has been neglected and ignored. Following the 2010 Indus floods, the late-established Government of Gilgit-Baltistan rebuilt it in 2012. The scaffold is supposed to serve as an important link between Gilgit’s town and the Astore District.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/pakistans-best-and-famous-bridges/

Rathoa Haryam Bridge:

The Islamgarh Bridge, also known as the Rathoa Haryam Bridge, is a long expansion under construction in the Mirpur District of Azad Jammu Kashmir, Pakistan. KASHMIR and AZAD JAMMU The Rathoa Haryam Bridge is 5 kilometers long. According to experts, the expansion between New Mirpur City and Islamgarh is 5 kilometers long. The expansion will not only reduce the street connection between Mirpur and Islamgarh to an unusually low level.

However, it will cut the time it takes for suburbanites to travel between Mirpur and Kotli, as well as between Mirpur and the Dadayal subdivision. According to the source, the scaffold will also create new vistas for the district’s tourism business. The remaining two columns of Kashmir’s Longest Bridge in Mirpur, Pakistan, are expected to be completed in June 2017. This is a diagram of what the previous extension will look like.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/pakistans-best-and-famous-bridges/

The Haryam Rathoa Bridge, which spans the Mangla Dam reservoir in Azad Kashmir and includes an engineering flyover, is almost 5 kilometers long. Because the ground isn’t suitable for columns, the addiction hasn’t been completed and hoping that architects will come up with a different arrangement to finish the scaffold may take some expenditure.

Tremor Memorial Bridge is a 474-meter extradosed bridge in Muzaffarabad that connects the Jhelum River banks to Naluchi and Chattar. The scaffold, which cost over Rs. 1.5 billion and was completed in August 2014 after several delays, was sponsored by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation. On either side, it emphasizes two pathways and walkways. The total width of the scaffold is 15 meters.

The Danyore Suspension Bridge, located in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan area, is one of the district’s most experienced makeshift engineered overpasses. Danyor is linked to the Karakoram University over the Hunza River by the scaffold. The expansion is now closed to automobiles; only pedestrians and bikers are authorized to pass through.

Winds from the northwest of the valley cause the suspension bridge to sway, causing minute resonances. The bridge is declared dangerous for normal traffic. A reliable two-way extension was built nearby in 2013 and is now being used as a backup alternative.

Native Jetty Bridge:

Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan is home to the Native Jetty Bridge. It connects the city to the Karachi Port. The advanced port commenced operations in 1854 when a mole was built to connect the town to the harbor during the British Raj. Native Jetty Bridge was worked with other major scaffolds in the region after only a few years. Because of the growing traffic congestion, a new, larger stand was erected to replace the old one. The former expansion has been renamed Port Grand Food and Entertainment Complex and has been transformed into a food street.

Jhelum Bridge:

On the Jhelum River in Pakistan, the Jhelum Bridge connects Jhelum with Sarai Alamgir. The British designer William St. John Galwey laid the foundation for this expansion in 1878. It is supported by several concrete wharves and is built of iron. It features a single train track on one side and a roadway on the other. Currently, railroad and street traffic use this extension. It is Pakistan’s longest railway bridge, measuring 2.6 miles in length.

On the Indus River in Pakistan, the Kotri Bridge connects Kotri with Hyderabad. It first opened to traffic on May 25, 1900, and was completely rebuilt in 1931. It stretches across more than five ranges, with a total length of 1,948 feet. It features a single train track with streets on both sides. Next to the previous extension, another railroad connection was built in the mid-eighties for train traffic. Mehran Railway Bridge is its name. The one-way railroad and two-way street traffic on the Kotri Bridge are still in service.
