Salute to the Setting Sun or Cult Followership
Churhtay Suraj ko Salam (چھڑھتے سورج کو سلام)
Today I want to write about a person whom people have accepted as their leader, as a guide. Do people really love him that much, or is it that they hate others so much in comparison that they have no choice but to love this leader? Our nation, as a nation, is not really a nation; it is a mob, a herd that salutes the setting sun...
This leader's followers are also strange. As long as anyone from their own party is standing with this leader and supporting them, they are devoted to Imran. But as soon as they are removed from their position, they also become traitors and rebels... It's such a cult-like followership that nobody asks the leader: brother, you were supposed to punish corrupt people and bring justice to the country. And the biggest thing is, when you yourself were working with the establishment, at that time neither the voices of the followers were raised nor was the establishment questioned.
Above all, our culture and eloquence have also been testified by the movies of our neighboring country, that whenever a Pakistani actor had to be shown in a movie, even if he was being portrayed as a villain in their film, only you and sir can see it.
Unfortunately, the language used by this leader's cult followers is so filthy that a sensible person cannot watch that video alone. Differences of opinion are fine, but one should not stoop so low in language and manners that if you are a man, you are a father, brother, or son, your mother, sister, wife, and daughter also have to listen to your language and watch it, or you have even taught them that if you dislike someone, you should descend to the lowest level of manners. I can understand what your response would be, that they also go there... Anyway, as a principle, everyone should know that your upbringing and your family's background are revealed through your language, no matter which party you belong to.
An even bigger thing is that to this day, I have not seen a video criticizing any leader of this party, or rather, it is even better that no leader has explained to their followers that there is a big difference between harsh language and abusive language and
From an Islamic point of view, even if you are uploading things on the internet, whatever you are doing, believe me, it doesn’t affect others at all. But it is certain that a single video you upload or a single comment can become a means of sin for you. Don’t blame anyone for being bad; look at yourself and see what you are saying and doing.
An incident also happened when slogans were raised everywhere in Madina Munawwara, a sacred place. Imran Khan's statement was that it would be the same everywhere with 'Aun'. Additionally, he mentioned that someone who recites the Kalima does not act like this, but even then, 'Aun' is not emphasized. At least consider the sanctity of the place. Anyway, may Allah guide us all.
By using social media and, most importantly, by creating a narrative, this party is messing with the minds of the people of our country. I know that whoever reads such writing will immediately think that it was written by a supporter of some establishment or by a supporter of the Noon League. I just want to say that having the ability to listen to and read criticism against yourself is also a trait of civilized people.
First, let's clarify who the people are who speak against Imran Khan. According to the results of the 2024 election, a government was not formed based on the outcome; the results were changed and a government was formed through Form 47. Just like this, when Imran Khan's government was formed in 2018, the army chief and other chiefs also had a soft hand over him, so why is this not talked about?
Imran Khan got very little time in government, and during his tenure, the coronavirus also emerged, so he didn't get much opportunity to work. But why didn't he get it? It wasn't exactly like that; just like every time Mian Nawaz Sharif was brought in first and then sent home within 2 to 3 years, the same happened with Imran Khan.
Now let me answer one thing: Imran Khan has not committed corruption, he has not created any property in Pakistan or abroad. The answer to this is that Imran Khan was and remains a celebrity. He lived a luxurious life, earned money, indulged in all kinds of pleasures, but he had already fulfilled every purpose of his life before entering politics. He did not need money or fame; what he needed was to become the Prime Minister and, at the end of his life, to be remembered as a hero in the eyes of the public.
When Nawaz Sharif first became a minister, I think he was around 40 years old, and he was a business personality who wanted to be successful as a politician, make a benchmark in Pakistan politics, and also make money, which everyone needs. And when he became Prime Minister for the first time, I think he was 47 to 48 years old. In contrast, Imran Khan was already over 70 when he became Prime Minister. As I have said before, Imran Khan had already lived a luxury life, whereas Nawaz Sharif started his political career trying to make his mark. That's the difference.
So far, has any follower or any journalist who loves Imran ever asked Imran Khan why every decision made under your government was wrong and why you had to take a U-turn on every decision? The answer could be that General Bajwa did not allow anything, which would mean you are accepting that you were a puppet PM. And if that is not the answer, then in a video itself he has already admitted that every decision was made as per their instructions.
What should I say, Parvez Elahi—what was he in your eyes and what is he now? Sheikh Rasheed—what was he and what is he now? Jahangir Tareen—what was he and what is he now? Aleem Khan—what was he and what is he now? Malik Riaz—what was he and what is he now? Someone should also ask Imran Khan that whenever you have to use someone, they are good and righteous people, and as soon as they ask for give and take as businessmen, why do they become bad in your eyes?
Let me also say one more thing, that I kept telling the whole of Pakistan, including myself, that Usman Buzdar should not stir trouble in Punjab, but you did not listen. That was your Wasim Akram, plus you, plus your government, and even Punjab's enemies got involved and then disappeared, just like other well-wishers.
It seems completely true, as said by your dear friend and advisor, that you do not understand people at all. You realize only after being deceived what has happened to you. The friend I am talking about is named Naeem Bukhari. Bukhari says that every Prime Minister, whoever comes, faced the same situation: even Imran Khan had a 'worm' on his neck, who used to tell him every day that no one besides you can run this country.
And there is a lot to write, but for today, even a hint is enough for the wise.
