Pakistani Startup Makes Waves In Self Driving Technology

Due to the generally increased rivalry in the market, Pakistani automakers have begun to embrace the incorporation of new technologies into their vehicles in recent years. Infotainment systems, satellite navigation systems, cruise control, and other driver-assist technologies are becoming more prevalent in certain vehicles, while others are still catching up.

Nonetheless, the incorporation of these technologies in all automobiles appears to be unavoidable, since they are rapidly becoming a requirement in today’s fast-paced environment, both on and off the road.

The firm was founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of Sedenius Engineering GmBH, a German company that develops software solutions for autonomous and automated driving. In a short period of time, the new firm earned the trust and support of top European automakers such as Audi, BMW, and Volkswagen.

Sedenius Technologies, which has developed a good name in the worldwide market, has its sights set on the booming Pakistani automobile sector.

Aadil Jaleel Choudhry, Chief Technology Officer of Sedenius Technologies, about the company’s operations and future plans.

Current Target Market:

Sedenius Technologies serves the European automobile market. European manufacturers are trying to accelerate the development of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) in order to compete with Tesla, General Motors, and other automakers that excel in this field.

Choudhry pointed out that the development of such systems is also encouraged by the fact that European governments are gradually legislating similar features for manufacturers in order to assure optimum safety on their roads and highways.

Sania Nishtar Launches “Ehsaas” Data Exchange Platform

Sania Nishtar, the government’s point-person on poverty reduction, unveiled the National Data Exchange Platform (NDEP) for the Ehsaas’ National Socioeconomic Registry 2021 on World Poverty Day.

One of the six pillars of One Window Ehsaas is the register. With the completion of the Ehsaas National Socioeconomic Registry 2021 survey, the NDEP will allow data exchange and data access services for all executing agencies overseen by the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division (PASSD).

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sania-nishtar-launches-ehsaas-data-exchange-platform/

This service will eventually be extended to provinces and other government agencies that are undertaking Ehsaas programs.

“Ehsaas NDEP will be a game-changer in revolutionizing social protection and poverty reduction programs in the country,” stated SAPM on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Sania Nishtar during the NDEP launch press conference.

She previously claimed that there was no way for one government entity to know what support a person or a family was receiving from another. “Some families with connections and power received many perks, while others who were more worthy received none,” she explained.

However, with Ehsaas NDEP in place, Sania stated, “The executing agencies in the Ehsaas ecosystem will be able to know what advantages an individual or a household is receiving by just entering in an individual’s computerized national identity number.”

More importantly, she stated that the advantages received by each family and individual from each organization will be apparent to all agencies participating in Ehsaas programs.

The advisor to the Prime Minister also complimented the teams working on the national socio-economic survey and technology.

According to a release, the data integration of the Ehsaas survey will also facilitate the deployment of the Ehsaas One Window targeting policy, which Prime Minister Imran Khan approved in the last quarter.
“It will ultimately save program costs, minimize redundancy, optimize beneficiary targeting, and enable efficient and effective policy decisions, planning, and execution,” the document stated.

The cognitive API architectural strategy will protect data sharing. Data will be shared in both directions; agencies with whom data will be shared will be expected to update the registry with their own information.

The NDEP will also be linked to other federal agencies’ databases, allowing for real-time beneficiary information checking.

As a result, the same data exchange infrastructure will underpin the upcoming Ehsaas targeted commodities subsidies programme, which will be implemented in partnership with the USC and the NBP.

The executing agencies of Ehsaas will be able to access data from the unified registry in real-time through this national scale data-sharing network to validate beneficiary information.

Pakistan Stock Exchange (Psx) To Launch New Trading System This Month

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) plans to make a newly acquired trading platform – purchased from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) – fully operational this month, according to PSX chief executive Farrukh H Khan.

The SZSE, China’s third-largest stock exchange in terms of trading value, owns 40% of the PSX and is one of the country’s three stock exchanges. In November 2019, Pakistan inked a $5 million contract with SZSE to acquire the trading and surveillance system in order to strengthen its operational and technological level.

According to Arab News, the CEO stated that the launch is scheduled for October. It was supposed to be live in March, but there were some criteria that “our stakeholders had requested to accommodate in the trading system, which is now in place,” he said.

The new trading system will make PSX trading more transparent and appealing, bringing the stock exchange up to pace with other stock exchanges.

“The technology will substantially increase our trading capabilities and ability to provide new products like options,” Khan added.
“We’ll have a genuine monitoring system as well as the robustness of a much better system.”

In an interview with an international magazine, the CEO stated that Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) downgraded the Pakistan Indexes due to a decrease in market capitalisation.

It is worth noting that the MSCI Pakistan Indexes were reclassified from the Emerging Market Index (EMI) to the Frontier Markets Index (FMI) in September (FMI).

The benchmark KSE-100 index hit 53,000 points in 2017, with a market value of $100 billion. However, market capitalization has fallen to $45 billion throughout the years, with a 17 percent dip in the last four months.

“Rising oil prices, which have more than doubled in recent days, Afghanistan’s situation, interest rate hikes, and the rupee have remained under pressure, and MSCI reclassification in general has caused negative consequences in the share market,” Khan said.

With a rim of about 32 kilometres, this Fort is also known as The Sindh’s Great Wall and is thought to be the world’s largest Fort. The ramparts of the Fort have been compared to the Great Wall of China.

www.fabulouspakistan.com

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sindhs-most-famous-tourist-attractions-and-landmarks/

Ranikot Fort is located on the Indus Highway, 90 kilometres (56 miles) north of Hyderabad. There is also an easy entry to Sannon on the Indus route, which is roughly an hour’s drive from Karachi. An entertainment highway begins a short distance away from Sann, the neighbouring hamlet, and heads to the Fort through a hilly 21-kilometer road, arriving at the eastern door of the Fort, known as Sann Gate. The Fort is located within the Kirthar National Park, Pakistan’s second-largest federal park.

The Fort is massive, stretching 31 kilometres and connecting several dismal summits of the Kirthar ranges along silhouettes. The Fort’s wall is connected with several fortifications, three of which are semi-circular in shape. The northern portion of the Fort’s perimeter is a genuine elevated mountainous structure. On the other three sides, however, it is surrounded by the Fort’s walls.

Within this major Fort, there is a little fort known as the “Miri Fort,” which is about 3 kilometres from the Sann entrance and serves as the Mir royal family’s house. The entire fort building was built of stone and citrus pestles. The Fort is built in a zigzag pattern, with four rhomboid-shaped entrance doors. Amri Gate, Sann Gate, Mohan Gate, and Shah-Pere Gate are the names of four gates.

Two of the gates, facing each other, are diagonally crossed by the Sann river; the first entry is on the western side and is eaten by the river’s water, making it difficult to reach. The southern door has two entrances. Two sides of the gates have flower-patterned decoration and carved diamonds.

Sukkur Barrage:

Sukkur Barrage is a barrage built on the Indus River near the city of Sukkur in Pakistan’s Sindh province. The barrage, known as the Lloyd Barrage, was built during the British rule from 1923 to 1932. The Sukkur Barrage is the pride of Pakistan’s fertilisation system, since it is the world’s largest single irrigation network of its kind.

It irrigates from Sukkur in the north to Mirpurkhas/ Tharparkar in the south. The Sukkur Barrage also washes the city of Hyderabad in Sindh’s south, as do practically all other parts of the province. It is 500 kilometres northeast of Karachi, 5 kilometres below the railroad bridge or the Sukkur Gorge. The establishment of a barrage-controlled irrigation system resulted in more favourable water allocations for Sindh’s farmed areas.

http://fabulouspakistan.com/sindhs-most-famous-tourist-attractions-and-landmarks/

Sindh survives almost entirely on the water of the Indus River due to the extremely limited amount of groundwater. The province receives between 100 and 200 mm of rain each year on average. The rate of evaporation, on the other hand, is between 1,000 and 2,000 mm. As a result, Sindh is arid, and the Indus is the only source of irrigation. Sindh is otherwise completely dry.

Standard questionnaires were not used to assess the availability of groundwater in Sindh. Numerous authorities estimated that its potential is between three and five MAF spread throughout 28 percent of Sindh’s geographical area. Nonetheless, some experts believe it is smaller than these figures. This water is mostly found in the Indus waterways and in rare natural underground streams.
