On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Kamyab Pakistan Program, which would distribute loans of 1400 billion rupees to 3.7 million families across the country.
In a statement, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said that the government’s Kamyab Pakistan Program is a major program aimed at alleviating poverty by empowering the poorest members of society and assisting them in changing their lives.
According to Shaukat Tarin, the initiative is intended to improve the lives of underprivileged members of society and financially empower them, as well as highlight the state’s responsibility to its weaker members. He claims that this is Pakistan’s first initiative of its kind, connecting banks with low-income populations via microfinance institutions.
