Pakistani International Cricketer & 2nd Fastest Bowler In The History “Yasir Shah”


 

Profile:

Yasir Shah is a Pakistani cricketer who has represented his country at the international level. He is a bowler who is the joint-second quickest bowler in Test cricket history to take 100 wickets, as well as the fastest to take 200 wickets, breaking the previous record established by Australian bowler Clarrie Grimmett.
On October 22, 2014, Shah made his Test debut for Pakistan against Australia in the UAE.
Shah became the quickest Pakistani bowler to collect 50 Test wickets during Pakistan’s tour to Sri Lanka.

The ICC banned Shah from playing any form of cricket for three months between December 2015 and March 2016 after a sample obtained from him was discovered to contain chlortalidone, a banned drug that is on WADA’s forbidden list of diuretics and masking agents. Family:

Shah is the cousin of Pakistani fast bowler Junaid Khan and Australian leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed and was born into a Bondizai Pashtun family in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 1986.

Education:

Yasir has Pakistani fast bowler Junaid Khan as well as Australian leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed as cousins. Yasir is a good batter and a competent right-arm leg-spin bowler. Yasir made his top-flight debut in international cricket at the age of 15 in 2002, but he had to trust that nine years would speak for Pakistan. Yasir was a member of the Pakistan Customs team from 2001 until 2009, and then the Abbottabad Rhinos. Yasir also played for Pakistan’s A team.


Professional Career:
